Gloria (Passero) Coleman, 75, of Worcester, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2014, at the Ichabod Washburn House Hospice Residence. She joins her husband and daughters in Heaven. Gerald predeceased her in 1999; their daughter, Joanne Coleman, predeceased them in 1996; and their daughter, Wendy Frazier, predeceased her in May 2013. Gloria is survived by her son-in-law, Dennis Frazier of Holden; four loving grandchildren, Jacquelyn Frazier and Victoria Frazier both of Holden, Joseph Saliba of Boston and Thomas Saliba of Worcester; a great grandson, Leon; and many nieces and nephews. She was born in Pittsfield, daughter of the late Robert and Rose (Corrente) Passero. Gloria grew up in Pittsfield before moving to Worcester to attend Becker College. While attending Becker, she met the man she would marry. Together they settled in Worcester to raise their family. She worked at Quinsigamond Community College for over thirty years as a Technical Assistant before she retired. Gloria was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church. She enjoyed shopping, cooking and dining out with friends and family. She also enjoyed time at their home on Cape Cod, where life was relaxed and many wonderful family memories were made. She will be forever remembered for her kindness, selflessness, and strength. Calling hours for Gloria will be on Monday, February 24, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Her Funeral will be on Tuesday, February 25, from the funeral home with a Mass at 12:30 p.m. in Our Lady of The Rosary Church, 25 Fales Street, Worcester. Interment will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
