Susan M. Nordstrom

Susan M. (Wamback) Nordstrom, 61 of Worcester, formerly of Northborough, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2014 at UMASS Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Susan is survived by her fiancé, Russell Danforth of Worcester; her son, Christopher G. Wamback of Goldsboro, NC; her mother, Marilyn M. (Arnold) Keigwin of Port Orange, FL; two beloved grandchildren, Ryan and Kaitlyn Wamback; her brother, Richard Wamback and his wife Donna of Northborough; three sisters, Kerry Martineau and her husband Donny of Oxford, Nancy Sorensen of Shrewsbury, and Eileen Keigwin of Sutton; many nieces, nephews and numerous friends. Susan was born and raised in Northborough, where she graduated from Algonquin Regional High School. She has lived in Worcester for the past thirty years. Susan was a waitress at Denny's for twenty-four years. She loved her dog, Harley, fishing and riding motorcycles with Russ. Susan's funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester. A period of calling hours will be held on Monday, February 24th from 4-7 p.m. in the funeral home. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, March 1st at 4:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Maronite Catholic Church, 341 June St., Worcester.
