Marie C. (Fresolo) Bisceglia, 85, of Worcester, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2014, in her home, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her loving husband of sixty-five years, Matteo, A. Bisceglia. Marie is also survived by their children, two sons, Matteo Bisceglia, Jr. of CT and Joseph Bisceglia of Worcester; three daughters, Susan Marie Bisceglia, with whom she lived, Barbara Liberis of Worcester and Anne Marie Peterson and her husband Benjamin of West Boylston; a daughter in law, Beth Bisceglia of Worcester; three brothers, Joseph Fresolo of Millbury, Ronald Fresolo of Albuquerque, NM and Richard Fresolo of Worcester; four sisters, Irene M. Fresolo of Worcester, Louise D. Tula, Dorothy Kamendulis and Terese M. Zalieckas, all of Shrewsbury; ten grand children; six great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Rocco Fresolo and by a sister, Marjorie Duquette. Marie was born in Worcester, daughter of the late, Rocco A. and Dorothy M. (Bowns) Fesolo, and has lived here all her life. Marie was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel-Saint Ann Church. She lived her life for her family; and she loved to be surrounded by her husband, children and grandchildren. The family would like to thank the kind people at VNA Care Network-Hospice, for their loving care and compassion. Calling hours will be held on Monday, February 10, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Her Funeral will be held on Tuesday, February 11, from the funeral home, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel-Saint Ann Church, 24 Mulberry Street, Worcester. Interment will follow in Saint John's Cemetery, Worcester. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Autism Resource Center, 71 Sterling Street, West Boylston, MA 01583.
