Grace (Lamanuzzi) Trapasso, 93, of Worcester, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2014, in Millbury Healthcare. Her loving husband of forty-one years, Frank J. Trapasso, Sr., passed away in December 1988. Grace is survived by her son, Frank J. Trapasso, Jr. and his wife Terri of Worcester; a granddaughter, Tia Trapasso of Worcester; her sister, Algerd A. Lananva of Worcester; her companion, Dr. Romeo LeBlanc; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister and two brothers, Marie Horan, Albert and Frank Lamanuzzi. Grace was born in Shrewsbury, daughter of the late, Pantaleo and Angela (Ricchiuti) Lamanuzzi, and has lived in Worcester most of her life. She graduated from Commerce High School. As a young girl, she and her sisters were members of The Rosebuds Rowing League on Lake Quinsigamond. He affinity for the water continued throughout her entire life, as an avid swimmer and lover of beaches Grace worked for many years at Sheppard Envelope Company and the former Orlando's Market in Shrewsbury. She had also worked as a stitcher for New England Manufacturing Company, where she made children's clothing. She was also a talented seamstress, making wonderful dresses and curtains. She enjoyed dancing, cooking and baking. The greatest joy in her life was spending time with her family and friends. Calling hours will be on Monday morning, February 10, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., followed immediately by her funeral service at 11 a.m., all occurring in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester.
