Ann Marie (Berthiaume) Daigneault, 79, of Worcester passed away Wednesday, January 15th 2014 with family gathered beside her. Ann Marie was born in Worcester, one of five children of Ernest and Mary (Mahoney) Berthiaume. She graduated from Worcester Girls Trade and later in 1956 married the love of her life and partner for the next 55 years Armand R. Daigneault. Ann Marie a simple wife, mother and grandmother devoted her entire life to caring for her family. She greatly cherished the times she could spend with them, and considered it her life's inspiration to see them succeed. Ann Marie's husband Armand passed away in October of 2012. She is survived by her three sons, Kevin M. Daigneault and his fiancée Heather Corliss of Worcester, Todd R. Daigneault of Webster, Brian J. Daigneault and his wife Paula Jane of Worcester; a sister, Beverly Schold and her husband Kenneth of Millbury; five grandchildren, Julie, Ashley Marie, Amber, Adam and Samantha; two great grandchildren; a brother in law, Wallace Landry of Millbury; Many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends A brother, Earl Berthiaume, and sisters, Mary Day, and Rita Landry pre deceased her. Ann Marie was devoted to her catholic faith, a member of Sacred Heart Church and attended church faithfully until she was no longer able to.. Ann Marie would then watch the daily mass on TV. She loved to Dance, entertain friends, family and care for her house. Ann Marie's funeral will be held Saturday, January 25th from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. with a Mass at 10:30 am in Sacred Heart- St Catherine Church, 600 Cambridge Street. Burial will follow in St John Cemetery. A period of calling hours will be held from 9:00 am to 10:00 am in the funeral home prior to leaving for church.
