Jane C. (Kozlowski) Radesky, 83, of Shrewsbury, passed into the loving embrace of her Lord and Savior on Monday, December 30, 2013. Jane is survived by three sons, David A. Radesky and his wife Cecile of Worcester, Richard J. Radesky of Boylston and Michael B. Radesky and his wife Lori of South Barre; two daughters, Claudia Hollander-Lucas and her husband John of Vashon,WA and Karen Elliot of Melbourne, Florida; a sister, Helen Kilinski of Worcester; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a brother, Albert S. Kozlowski and two sisters, Josephine Louzonus and Irene Ankstitus. Jane was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Michael and Bronislawa (Noviki) Kozlowski. She graduated from Saint Mary's High School and later from Westborough State Hospital School of Nursing. Jane worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Belmont Home for many years, retiring in 1993. She had previously cared for patients at Saint Francis Home and the Westborough and Grafton State Hospitals. Jane was a devout Roman Catholic with a strong faith in Jesus Christ and the love he has for everyone. She was a member of Saint Anne's Church in Shrewsbury; and has been a Perpetual Vowed member of the Teresian Carmelites, for over thirty-seven years. She has hosted a beautiful prayer line, for many years, for the Carmelites. Visitation will be held in Saint Anne's Church, 130 Boston Turnpike, Shrewsbury on Thursday, January 2, 2014 from 9:30-10:30 a.m., immediately prior to the Celebration of her Funeral Liturgy which will be held at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Community of Teresian Carmelites, Post Office Box 826, Worcester, MA 01613-0826.
