Mildred (Petrozzi) Gabriella

Mildred B. (Petrozzi) Gabriella, 87 of Worcester died peacefully Friday December 27, 2013 in the Autumn Village Nursing Center. Her husband George Gabriella died in 2002. Millie is survived by her loving children; Lawrence Gabriella, David Gabriella, and Paul Gabriella. Her grandchildren Nicole and Angela, and also a great grandson Matthew. Millie also leaves a brother Francis Petrozzi and his wife Barbara, and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by two sisters,Phyllis Cogoli and Anna Guerra. Millie was born in Worcester daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Peluso) Petrozzi and lived here all her life. She was a graduate of the David Hale Fanning Trade School for Girls. Millie worked at the former Capital Factory Shoe Outlet, as a saleswomen , for many years before she retired. She was a long time member of the Church of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel-St Ann and it s Golden Years Club. She was an active participant in the Perpetual Novena at St. Johns Church. Millie enjoyed being a homemaker and loved spending time with her family. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Millie's funeral will be held on Monday with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM in the Church of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel-St Ann 24 Mulberry St. A visiting hour with the family will be held from 9AM to 10:45 AM IN THE CHURCH prior to the Mass. Interment with her husband will be in St' Johns Cemetery. The family has selected the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St to assist them with their mother's funeral. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Our Lady of Mt.
