Constance "Connie" B. Green Williams, 63, of Millbury, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2013 in Saint Vincent Hospital. Connie is survived by her husband, Walter "Brother" Williams; two sons, Donald "DJ" Green Williams of Millbury and his children, Darnell and George, and son, C. Todd Green Williams and his wife Lealia of Millbury and their children Amelia, Marcia, Christopher Jr., and James. She is also survived by her brother, Henry "Hanky" Green of Worcester and his daughter Tanyelle, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends including her Aunt Lula Barnes and her children. She was preceded in death by her brother Norman Green. Connie was born in Sumter, South Carolina, daughter of the late Norman and Alean (Singletary) Green and graduated from Hope High School in Providence, Rhode Island; she moved to the Worcester area in the early 1970's, before settling in Millbury in 1978. She attended Quinsigamond Community College. She worked for over twenty years at UPS, before retiring in 2009. She was a member of Belmont A.M.E. Zion Church, the Nokomis Temple # 36, IBPOE of W Daughters of Elks; she served as Past State President, Past-Grand Daughter Ruler and New England States Queen, and was a member of the Nettie Carter Jackson Antler Guard Unit. Funeral Services and Calling Hours for Constance will be held on Saturday, December 14, Calling Hours begin at 10 a.m. with the Funeral Service following at 12 Noon all occurring in Belmont A.M.E. Zion Church, 55 Illinois Street, Worcester. Burial Services and Final Prayers will be held at a later date in Lake City, South Carolina.
