Angela M. (Misale) Adams, 76 of Millbury, formerly of Worcester, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 9, 2013 at home surrounded by her loving family. Angela is survived by her son, Joseph Charles Adams and his wife Lynn of Thompson, CT; two daughters, Donna Heidemann and her husband Reinhold of Auburn and Paula Paxson and her wife Julia of Millbury with whom she lived; three brothers, John D. Misale of Willimantic, CT., Donald S. Misale and Dominick D. Misale both of Worcester; a sister, C. Connie Ekstrom of Worcester; seven beloved grandchildren, Emilia Kapiris and her husband Rick, Derek Heidemann, Taylor, Cameron and Casey Adams, Jamis and William Paxson; one great granddaughter, Anika Kapiris; her best friend, Arlene Mulrain; many nieces and nephews. Angela was born in Worcester, a daughter of the late Salvatore C. and Felicia Rose (Tripodi) Misale and had lived in Worcester for seventy years before moving to Millbury with her daughter Paula and her family six years ago. She attended Commerce High School and later graduated from Ollis Academy of Cosmetology. Angela worked as a hairdresser at various salons in Worcester for forty years. She also was a unit secretary at St. Vincent's Hospital for five years and a secretary at UMASS Hospital for fourteen years before she retired in 2005. Angela was a member of St. Stephen's Church. Services for Angela will be held on Friday, December 13, 2013 from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in St. Stephen's Church, 357 Grafton St., Worcester. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. A period of calling hours will be held on Thursday, December 12th from 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
