George J. Corey Jr

George J. Corey, Jr., 62, of Worcester, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday November 13, 2013. George was born in Worcester one of three children of George Corey, Sr. and Josephine M. (Peters) Corey. He graduated from Worcester Academy , and then earned his Bachelors of Arts degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He has lived here all his life George worked alongside his father George in management of real-estate properties in the Worcester Area. George is survived by his sister, Lynn M. Corey; his aunt Adele Nabhan; many cousins and extended family. His brother Forest Corey passed away in 2011. George was a member of St George Orthodox Cathedral. He was a quiet man whom was loved and truly loved his family. Funeral services for George will be held Monday, November 18th at 11 am in St George Orthodox Cathedral, 30 Anna St. A period of visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 10:45 am in the church. Burial next to his brother will follow in Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St George Orthodox Cathedral, 30 Anna St. Worcester 01604.
