Keith A. Taylor

Keith A. Taylor, 48, longtime Shrewsbury resident passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2013, with the family he loved so much gathered by his side. Keith was born in Worcester, son of the late Elex A. and Laura (Moores) Taylor. He graduated from North High School, moving to Shrewsbury a short time later where he has lived ever since. Keith, a workaholic who loved the company that employed him fourteen years ago; R.J. Devereaux Corporation, raising to the position of construction foreman until having to retire due to illness in 2012. He is survived by his wife, Sherry A. (O'Connor) Taylor, whom he spent the last 18 years with; his three children, Jesse Hartz Taylor on Cape Cod; David O'Connor, and Nicole Pinkham all of Worcester; two brothers, Elex A. Taylor, Jr. of Worcester and Mark Taylor of Shrewsbury; a sister, Linda Fisher on Cape Cod; two grandsons, Jordan and Tyree O'Connor; several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A brother, John Taylor pre deceased him. Keith enjoyed golfing, attending and watching sporting events and working. Besides his family, Keith loved his job, his company and the ability to go to work daily. Calling hours for Keith will be held Friday, October 12th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. His service will follow at 7:00 pm. Interment with his parents in Hope Cemetery, will be held at a later date.
