Anthony Muscara, 47 of Gardner formerly of Holbrook, MA., passed away unexpectedly on September 28, 2013. Anthony is survived by his wife of five years, Monique M. (Foley) Muscara; twin sons, Jacob and Ryan Muscara; a step-son, Bradley Hunt all of Worcester; three sons, Mackenzie, Jason and Joseph Muscara all of Connecticut; a brother, Joseph Muscara of Clarksburg, MD; four sisters, Maria Ingham and her husband Fred of Fairfax, VA, Rosita Muscara of Cumming, GA, Irene Rowland and her husband Mike of Cumming, GA and Dorothy Fox and her husband Alex of Prescott, AZ; a brother-in-law, Bryan Foley and his wife Eileen of Winchendon; his best friend, Harry Tremblay of Easton, MA; many nieces, nephews and numerous friends. Anthony was born in Boston, a son of the late Antonio and Fortunata (DeLuca) Muscara. He grew up in Holbrook, MA where he graduated from Holbrook High School. He later moved to Gardner where he has lived ever since. Anthony worked as a correctional officer for Souza Baranowski Correctional Center in Shirley, MA for fifteen years. He loved woodworking, antiques, his jeep and traveling out west, especially to Prescott, Arizona. "I'll get the gas, these are my people." Anthony's memorial service will be held on Monday, October 7, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester. A period of calling hours will be held on Monday, October 7, 2013 from 4-7 p.m. in the funeral home prior to his memorial service.
