Roy J Hippert

Roy J. Hippert, 63, passed away on September 22,2013. He is survived by his Wife Marilyn, a son Roy J Hippert Jr. of Florida a step daughter Monica, four brothers Terry, Michael, Leon,and Joseph all of Worcester,two sisters Michelle Washburn of Worcester and Lynne Luciano of Naples Florida. Roy also leaves his half sister Judy Manna of Worcester,and a half brother Kenny Hippert. 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.and many nephews, nieces, and friends. He was predeceased by a sister Kathleen and a brother Gerald. Roy was born in Worcester son of the late Roy and Ann (Flynn) Hippert and lived here most of his life.Roy worked at the Worcester State Hospital as a Baker . He also worked as a Chef at various other Worcester Restaurants. Roy was the Head Cook at Holy Cross College for many years before he retired due to health reasons. Roy always enjoyed time spent with family and friends. He loved to smoke Tiparillo cigars,and enjoyed hunting and fishing. His Son, Brothers and Sisters have planned a Memorial Mass in his honor at St. Johns Church 40 Temple St. on Saturday October 5, 2013 at 10:AM. (mercadantefuneral.com)
