Mary A Cozzolino

Mary R. (Capezzuto) Cozzolino, 87, formerly of Worcester passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 27th 2013 after a period of declining health. Mary was born and raised in Worcester, a daughter of James P. and Pauline A. (Machini) Capezzuto; graduated from Commerce High and lived here before moving to Westborough, 13 years ago. Mary is survived by her devoted son and daughter in law, Joseph A. Cozzolino Jr. and Eileen A. Cozzolino of Southborough; four grandchildren whom she cherished and who cherished her, twins Joseph III and Marissa, Drew and Gillian Cozzolino; Many extended family members and friends. Mary worked more than 20 years as a Hairdressing and cosmetology instructor for Leo's Beauty School before retiring in 1964. She then found her life's enjoyment caring for and raising her family. Her son, daughter in law and grandchildren were her life's inspiration and joy. Spending time with them during special occasions, birthdays and holidays are what made her smile. She took great pride in her Italian heritage with her cooking and Italian traditions. She also loved walking. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family tomorrow, Friday August 30th from 9:30 am to 10:30 am in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Her Celebration of Life funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am in Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church, 24 Mulberry St. Burial will follow in St John Cemetery. In lieu of flowers remembrances in Mary's name may be made to Children's Hospital, 300 Longwood Ave Boston, MA 02115
