Maria( Foresta)Abbruzzese, 99, of San Giacomo. Died peacefully Thursday August 22, 2013 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her husband Natale Abbruzzese. Her brother Francesco Monfalcone and her son in law Angelo Falcone.She is survived by her loving children; Bina Falcone, Santo Abbruzzese and his wife Adele,, Annunziata and her husband Camillo Abbruzzese with whom she lived., Salvatore Abbruzzese and his wife Anna Maria, all of Italy, and her daughter Antonietta Algieri and her husband Salvatore of Worcester. She also leaves Eleven grandchildren and their families, among them Salvatore N. Algieri and his girlfriend Jennifer of Worcester. Maria also leaves many great grandchildren. Maria loved working in her garden, but most of all she loved being with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Her funeral and burial was held Friday August 23, in San Giacomo. A memorial Mass will be held Saturday August 31, 2013 in Our Lady of Loreto Church 37 Massasoit Rd at 4:00PM.
