Philomena "Phyllis" Cogoli

Philomena F. "Phyllis" (Petrozzi) Cogoli,96, of Worcester died peacefully Tuesday July 30, 2013 in the Christopher House. Her Husband Fredrick "Freddy" Cogoli predeceased her. Phyllis is survived by a brother Francis Petrozzi and his wife Barbara, two sisters, Virginia Czubrynski, and Mildred Gabriella. Phyllis also leaves many nephews, nieces and great nephews and great nieces. She was predeceased by a brother Lawrence Petrozzi, and three sisters, Helen and Irene Petrozzi, and Anna Guerra. Philomena was born in Worcester daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Peluso)Petrozzi and lived here all her life. She attended Worcester Public Schools. Phyllis worked for the former Leather Craft Company for many years before she retired. She attended Our Lady of Loreto Church. Phyllis enjoyed baking , but her most treasured times were those spent with her family. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Philomena's funeral will be held Friday, with a Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 AM in the Church of Our Lady of Loreto, 37 Massasoit Rd. There are no calling hours. Interment will be with her husband in St. John's Cemetery, MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME &CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. is assisting the family with arrangements.
