Claire R. Pecorelli

Claire R. (Jaston) Pecorelli, 90, of Worcester died peacefully Tuesday July 23, 2013 at home with her loving family around her. Claire's husband of 66 years Peter J. Pecorelli died in 2009. She is survived by a son Peter F. Pecorelli and his wife Marilee of Leominster, and her daughter Patricia A. George and her husband Philip J. of Worcester. Claire also leaves a brother Robert F. Jaston, and a sister Dorothy M. Cashen both of Worcester, and several nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces. Claire was born in Worcester daughter of the late Frank J. and Mary G. (Power) Jaston, and lived in Worcester all her life. She was a graduate of Commerce High School. Claire worked for the Worcester Vocational High School as a secretary for over 30 years before she retired. Claire was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel-St Ann Church. Claire and her husband Peter loved to travel and enjoyed many winters in Coco Beach, Florida. She was a kind, lovable lady who will be missed by her family and friends. Claire's funeral will be held on Friday from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. with a Mass of Christian burial at 11:30AM in the Church of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel-St Ann, 24 Mulberry St. A calling hour will be held on Friday morning from 9:30AM to 11:00AM in the funeral home prior to leaving for church. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery.
