Joyce (Norman) Sequeira-McGillicuddy, 75, of Sun City Center, Florida, formerly of Worcester, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2013 in Florida. Joyce is survived by her husband Joseph McGillicuddy of Sun City Center; two daughters, Susan Alward and her husband Paul of Shrewsbury and Deborah Hatfield and her husband Rusty of Colorado Springs, CO; two sons, Steven Sequeira of Middleton, RI and Christopher Sequeira and his wife Krista of Holden; seven grandchildren, Kali, CJ, Jamie, Missy, Mason, Jesse and Alex; three great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She also leaves a brother, Dick and four sisters, Sandra, Shirley, Gale and Betty. She was predeceased by two sisters, Connie and Claire. Joyce was born in Webster, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Norman. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for many years with the Visiting Nurses Association here in Massachusetts and upon her retirement she continued her work as a CNA in Florida; which she enjoyed immensely; particularly her wonderful co-workers. According to Joyce's wishes, there are no calling hours or services planned. The family would like to thank all the wonderful people at LifePath Hospice, for it was their love and compassion the made Joyce's last weeks comfortable and gave her family comfort knowing she was well cared for.
