Lillian M. (Bisceglia) Acquaro, 95, formerly of Worcester, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2013, in Marliere Hospice Care Center, New Port Richey, Florida. Her husband, Ralph Acquaro, predeceased her in 1989. Lillian is survived by a son, Anthony Acquaro and his wife Ellen of Tampa; two daughters, Janice Bogren of North Port, FL and Judith Atkins and her husband Francis of Vineland, NJ; two sisters, Patricia Michaud of Manchester, NH and Jenny Bisceglia of Summerville, SC; six grandchildren, Joyce Ranalli, Robert Bogren, Bethany and Megan Acquaro, Thomas and Daniel Atkins; two great grandsons, Joshua and Zachary Bogren; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters, Leo and Michael Bisceglia, Jean Gagliardi and Ann Johnson. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Armelotta) Bisceglia and lived most of her life in Worcester, before moving to Florida in August 2002. Lil worked at Worcester State Hospital for many years, retiring as Supervisor of the linen room. She was a member of the former Saint Margaret Mary Church, the Golden Years at Mount Carmel, American Legion Post 201 Auxiliary and Our Lady of Sorrows. She was an amazing woman who loved to be with her family. Her smile was genuine and infectious; she will be remembered as a loving, caring woman. Lillian's Calling Hours and Funeral will be held on Tuesday, June 25 in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Calling hours will be from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m., with her Funeral Service to follow at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Saint John's Cemetery, Worcester.
