Donna Marie Zollo

Donna Marie Zollo, 47, of Worcester passed away unexpectedly Friday June 14, 2013 at home. Donna is survived by her loving daughter Jennifer Marie Zollo of Worcester, and many cousins, including Robert, Marie, and Sophie with whom she was very close. She also leaves her lifelong dear friend Angela Armenti-Moore, and many aunts and uncles. Donna was born in Worcester daughter of the late Vincent and Marie (Tolman) Zollo and lived here all her life. She was a graduate of St Peter Marian High school, and attended Quinsigamond and Becker Junior College. Donna was an Instructional Assistant with the Worcester School Department for many years and was still working at the time of her passing. She worked several years for Central Massachusetts Special Education Collaborative, and Catholic Schools in the city. Donna had an outgoing personality and loved being out and around with her family and friends especially fun nights at the Banner Pub. She loved to Salsa Dance, going to the Dog Park, Traveling, and going to the Beach. However her most treasured times were those spent with her family. Donna left us all too soon and to suddenly. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Donna's calling hours and funeral service will be held on Friday June21, in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME &CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. Calling hours will be held from 2:00PM to6:00PM with a service to follow at 6:00PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Jennifer M. Zollo Educational Fund Inc. in care of Bank of America. And may be brought to the funeral home if attending the wake and service, or mailed directly to the family.
