Marie R. "Nonni Marie" (Tolman) Zollo, 68, of Worcester passed away peacefully Saturday June 8, 2013 with her devoted family by her side. Marie was born in Worcester, one of eight children of Richard and Rose (Guillaume) Tolman. She graduated from Holy Name High School, met and in 1964, married the man she would spend the next 47 years with happily Vincent F. Zollo. Together they settled in Worcester to raise their family. She has lived here ever since. Marie worked over 35 years for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Trial Court beginning as a Superior Court Clerk working through the system to her present position as Regional Administrator Coordinator. Marie's husband Vincent whom she devoted her life passed away in February of 2011. She is survived by the two people she cherished so much, her daughter Donna Marie Zollo and granddaughter Jennifer Marie Zollo both which whom she lived; five brothers, Richard, Verne, Robert, Wayne and John Tolman; Many nieces, and nephews, including Robert, her goddaughter Marie, Sophie and close friend Angela Armenti-Moore whom were so helpful during a difficult time; Extended family and friends. A brother, Albert Tolman and sister Pauline Banfill pre deceased her. Marie was a member and active volunteer of Our Lady of Loreto Church, a member of The Worcester Lodge 168, Sons of Italy. She enjoyed gardening, occasional trips to the casinos, keeping her yard pristine, her cats, and her court house friends. Most of all, Marie cherished her daughter and granddaughter. She found nothing more satisfying than being with them and watching Jenn dance at competitions and recitals. They were her entire life and joy. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family Thursday June 13th from 3 pm to 6 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Her service will follow at 6 pm in the funeral home.
