Grace M Dente

Grace M. Dente, 96, of Worcester passed away peacefully Sunday, June 2nd 2013, with family gathered beside her. Grace was born in Worcester, one of five children of Italian 0immigrants Joseph and Josephine (Sette) Dente. She grew up and graduated from Commerce High School, accepted a position with the G.E. Telecron Company in Worcester. After GE decided to relocate to Ashland Grace chose to continue her employment with them retiring after 30 years with the company. Grace never finding the perfect man to marry was very much a family women who cherished her brother and sisters, and believed her nephews and nieces were here children as well. She found her life's joy in the company of her family at gatherings and holidays. Grace is survived by her family; Teresa Matasavage of North Brookfield, Antoinette Dumas, John Dente and Christine Brunelle all of Worcester; Many nieces, nephews she truly loved, extended family and friends. Friends and relatives are invited to visit for a period of calling hours, Wednesday, June 5th from 8:30 to 10:00 am in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Her funeral procession and Mass will follow at 10:30 am in Our Lady of Loreto Church, 37 Massasoit Rd. Burial with her parents will be in St John Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Loreto Church, 37 Massasoit Rd. 01604.
