Sarah Rose(Federico) Bissonnette, 96, of Worcester formerly of Framingham died peacefully Thursday May, 30,2013 in the Beaumont Nursing Home with her loved ones around her. Her husband a WW11 veteran Robert F. Bissonnette died in 1982. Sarah is survived by her children and grandchildren; Patricia Swanke and her daughter Melissa of Worcester, Kathie Gavin and her husband David, and their children Jennifer and David all of Framingham, Rose Bertone and her husband William of Cape Cod, Ralph Bissonnette and his wife Sara of Marlborough, Robert Bissonnette Jr.and his wife Valery of Ashland and Beverly Leverone and husband Charles of Ashland, and grandchildren Karen, Anthony, Robert,Michael, Steven and Charles, and several great grandchildren, nephews and nieces. She was sister to Mary, Josephine, Connie, Rose, and Nunzio. Sarah was born in Framingham daughter of the late Dominic and Katherine (Arcadapane) Federico and lived in Framingham for 92 years before moving to Worcester several years ago to live with her daughter Patricia. Sarah was a graduate of Framingham High School. She was a skilled seamstress and worked for the Dennison Manufacturing Company for many years before she retired. Sarah was a member of St Tarcisus Church and also attended St. Stephen Church. She had a great sense of humor and was a warm and caring women who enjoyed being with family and friends. Being the Italian mother that she was, she loved to sing, cook, sew, and above all being with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Sarah s funeral will be held Tuesday with a Mass of Christian burial in the Church of St. Stephen 221 Concord St. Framingham at 10:00AM. (family and friends are kindly asked to meet at church there will be no procession from the funeral home) Calling hours in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. Worcester, will be held on Monday evening from 4:00PM to 7:00PM.
