Albert C. Merolla, Jr.

Albert C. Merolla, Jr., 64 of Worcester, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at home. Albert is survived by his brother, Anthony A. Merolla and his wife Theresa of Worcester; two nephews; many cousins and several friends. Albert was born in Worcester, a son of the late Albert C. Merolla, Sr. and Jennie M. (Poti) Merolla and has lived here all his life. He graduated from Burncoat Senior High School and Nichols College. Albert worked for many years for several area companies. He then was the primary caretaker for his parents before there passing. Albert enjoyed doing handy work around the house and puzzles. Service for Albert will be held on Monday, June 3, 2013 from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Church, 555 Pleasant St., Worcester. Burial will follow in Saint John's Cemetery. A period of calling hours will be held on Sunday, June 2nd from 3-5 p.m. in the funeral home.
