Giuseppe Arcuri, 84, of Worcester, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2013 in Saint Vincent Hospital. His wife, Maria (Caliugiuri) Arcuri, predeceased him in 1976. Giuseppe is survived by two daughters, Concetta Romeo and Cinzia Arcuri and Worcester; three sons, Sergio Arcuri and twins Maurizio Arcuri and Massimo Arcuri all of Worcester; a brother, Angelo Arcuri of Worcester; a sister, Virginia Lamini of Italy; thirteen grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter, Domenica Mustica and by his son, Mario Arcuri; he was also predeceased by a sister Ersilia Arcuri. He was born in Acri, Province of Concenza in the Calabria region of Italy, son of Santo and Domenica (Fiore) Arcuri. Giuseppe worked as a Mason for Amorello Construction for many years, before he retired. He had also worked for himself and was a very talented artisan. He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel-Saint Ann Church and the former Calabrese Club on Suffolk Street in Worcester. Calling hours for Giuseppe will be held on Monday, May 6, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. His Funeral will be held on Tuesday, May 7, from the funeral home with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel-Saint Ann Church, 24 Mulberry Street, Worcester. Entombment will follow in Notre Dame Mausoleum, Worcester.
