Rose (Adimari) Grandinetti, 95 of Grafton formerly of Acri, Italy, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 29, 2013 at Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center, Worcester surrounded by her devoted family. Rose's husband of fifty-one years, Angelo Grandinetti passed away in November of 1997. She is survived by her son, Frederick Grandinetti and his wife Karole of Grafton; two daughters, Angelina Feraco of Grafton and Mary Adimari and her husband Roberto of El Segundo, CA; a brother Generoso Adimari of Italy; ten grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a brother, Natale Adimari; two sisters, Christina Girardi and Maria Romeo. Rose was born in Worcester, a daughter of the late Fedele and Maria (Luzzo) Adimari. Rose grew up in Acri, Italy and lived there till 1952. She later lived in Worcester, Charlton then Grafton and has lived there ever since. Rose was a member of St. Mary's Church, Grafton. Rose's name symbolizes "Beauty', and she exuded that beauty. She was a quiet, giving, loving, strong Italian woman who cherished her family and loved everyone. The love she gave her family cannot be measured, they were her life. Rose's garden, roses and flowers were her passion and brought her joy. She also enjoyed making bread, pasta, cooking, knitting and her favorite shows Days of Our Lives and Chuck Norris, Texas Ranger. Rose was greatly loved and she will be missed. She was the "Rock" of the family and they all appreciated her wisdom and love. Her family can all take comfort with her peaceful passing. Services for Rose will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2013 from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 17 Waterville St., Grafton. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Grafton. A period of visitation will be held on Friday, May 3rd from 5-8 p.m. in the funeral home. Flowers are welcome.
