Fatemeh Damestani Yazdanpanah, 89 of West Boylston died peacefully on April 13, 2013 at Memorial Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband Ali Yazdanpanah. Fatemeh was a devoted and selfless mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She leaves her 6 children Kadijeh and her husband Freydoon Dabiri and their daughter Nozi; Mahmood and his wife Nahid and their children, Hassan and Azadeh; Fahimeh and her Husband Mohammad Adelian and their children Roshanek, Reza, Roya, and Naghmeh; Homa Yazdanpanah and her son Roozbeh; all in Iran. Her son Hamid Yazdanpanah and his wife Melissa and their son, Ethan Yazdanpanah reside in Princeton, Ma., their daughter Dena Hamel and her husband Joseph reside in Worcester. Her son Hossein Yazdanpanah and his wife Lee and their children Setareh and her husband Israel and Azi reside in Houston Texas. Fatemeh took great pride in her 6 great-grand daughters. She leaves her step-mother Ezatolmolouk Moghadasyan, two sisters Shoreh and Shireen and two brothers Sharam, and Shahang Damestani who reside in California and many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her two beloved brothers Esmail and Ahmad as well as 2 grand-sons Faraz Dabirir and Nima Taskini. Fatemeh was born in 1924 in Basreh Iraq, lived in Iran her entire life until she immigrated to the United States in 2003. In her last years, Fatemeh was a resident of Oakdale Nursing Home in West Boylston, Ma. The family would like to express deep appreciation for the love and care provided to her by their caring staff. Despite the language barrier, they communicated their love and affection to Fatemeh and it was reciprocated. They truly were her second family. A service and remembrance will be held at the Manor Restaurant in west Boylston on Tuesday, April 16th at 5 pm. All who knew and loved her are welcome to attend.
