Carol A. (DiCenzo) Naster, 72, of Worcester died peacefully at home on Tuesday April 9, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. Carol is survived by her long time companion Dennis Sampson, her loving children, a son Todd Naster and a daughter Rhoda Naster both of Worcester,three sisters Mildred Bassan,Shirley Battelle, and Eileen Biziewski, and two grandchildren Casey Larson, and Nicholas Bufton, also many nephews and nieces and cousins. Carol was predeceased by a brother Joseph DiCenzo Carol was born in Worcester daughter of the late Pierino J.and Nellie R. (Patruno) DiCenzo and lived here all her life. She was a graduate of Commerce High School. Carol worked many years at the Worcester State Hospital as a Telephone Operator before she retired. Carol attended Our Lady of Mt. Carmel-St Ann Church, and was a member of the PNI Club, and also Local # 137. Carol always looked on the bright side of things throughout her life. She was an energetic and positive person, and enjoyed a good day at the Casino! However her most treasured time was spent with her family, especially the grandchildren. Carol will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Carol's funeral service will be held Saturday at 10:30AM in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. A calling hour will be held from 9:00A.M.to 10:30A.M. the time of the service.
