Barbara M. (Brewer) Pasquale, 79 of Shrewsbury, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 1, 2013 in the Christopher House surrounded by her loving family. Barbara is survived by her husband of fifty-four years, Vincent Pasquale; three sons, Anthony E. Pasquale and his wife Karen of Millbury, Michael V. Pasquale of Shrewsbury and Steven M. Pasquale and his wife Julie of Shrewsbury; a brother, Eugene Turner of California; four grandchildren, Arielle and Nathan Pasquale of Millbury and Nicholas and Alex Pasquale of Shrewsbury; many nieces and nephews. Barbara was born in Millbury, the daughter of the late Edward and Emily (Turner) Brewer. She grew up in South Grafton and graduated from Grafton High School in 1952. She later moved to Shrewsbury and has lived there for fifty-three years. Barbara worked as a supervisor in the subrogation department of Liberty Mutual for over twenty years before her retirement in 1992. She was a member of St. Anne's Church, Shrewsbury. Barbara was a devoted Red Sox fan; enjoyed playing cards, going to the casino and vacationing in Myrtle Beach, Las Vegas and Cape Cod. The Pasquale family would like to thank her nurses and nurse's aides at the Christopher House for the care and compassion given to Barbara over the last two years. Services for Barbara will be held on Friday, April 5, 2013 from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in St. Anne's Church, 130 Boston Turnpike, Shrewsbury. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Shrewsbury. A period of calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 4th from 4-7 p.m. in the funeral home.
