Nancy (Kilmer) Armenti, 74, of Worcester passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday March 13, 2013, joining her loving husband Natale "Charlie" Armenti, who passed away in 2002. Nancy is survived by her devoted family: her children, Cathy MacIlvane, her husband Kevin and their children, Katelyn, her husband James and their son Jackson, Kevin Jr., his wife Cate and their son Luca; Linda Troiano, her husband Anthony and their children, Nicole, Anthony and Danielle; Charles Armenti, his wife Karla and their children, Stephen and his fiancee Ashlee Bennett, and David; Lori Bourke and her children, Alyssa, Patrick and Daniel; her sister, Karen Burke, her husband James and their children, Jennifer Barba, her husband Joseph and their daughter Grace, Jami Fischer and her husband Damien, and Jillian Burke. She especially adored her two great grandchildren and her special companion and best friend for the past nine years, Dazi. Nancy was born in Worcester, one of two daughters of Henry and Frances (Salls) Kilmer. She graduated from Commerce High. She met the love of her life Charlie and they were happily married for 45 years. Together they settled in Worcester to raise their family. She has lived here all her life. Nancy worked as an account representative for the Peterson Oil Company. Later she worked for the claims department of Sears and Roebuck for many years before she retired. Nancy was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and "Mimi". Nothing was more important in her life than her family and Dazi. They were her life's inspiration and joy, and she cherished all the opportunities she had to be around them. Callling hours for friends and relatives are Saturday, March 16th from 9 am to 11 am in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Her funeral service will be at 11:00 am. Nancy will be laid to rest beside her husband in St . John 's Cemetery. The family requests that flowers be omitted and memorial remembrances in her name be made to the Joslin Diabetes Clinic, 1 Joslin Place, Boston. 02112.
