Carol A. (Webber) Stellato, 80, of Worcester passed away peacefully Tuesday March 12th 2013 with her husband by her side. Carol was born in Marlborough, one of four daughters born to Charles and Eva (LaCroux) Webber. She lived and was educated in Marlboro and in 1967, she married the man who would become her life, love and devoted husband for the next 46 years, John J. Stellato. Together they settled in an Eastside Worcester neighborhood and have lived there ever since. Carol and John not being blessed with children, she thought of her neices and nephews as her family; Ann and Anthony Valerio and their two daughters; Raymond and Mary Insani and their two daughters; Cynthia and Robert Plutnicki and their two daughters; Carol also had in her heart an affection for a special family member Jean LaMarche who was always there to help. Carol's three sisters, Dorothy Mousette, Charlotte Insani, Eva Webber and an infant all pre deceased her. She worked for a time as an office assistant over 10 years for the Dennison Manufacturing Company. Carol then became a housewife and office manager for her husband's company, Worcester Wrecking and Salvage Company. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church. Carol loved to read, travel with her husband to Bermuda, cruises and flowers especially Red Roses. But, the joy she found in life was by her husband's side caring for and helping him with the family business. Friends and relatives are invited to attend calling hours, Today, Wednesday, March 13th from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Her funeral will be celebrated Thursday, March 14th from the funeral home with a Mass at 11:30 am in Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church, 24 Mulberry St. Burial will follow in St John Cemetery.
