Lisa M Desseta

Lisa M. (Grimaldi) Desseta, 41, of Worcester died unexpectedly in her home Monday morning of unknown causes. Lisa is survived by her husband and partner of 20 years Yelma Desseta, a son Ethan, and a daughter, Kayla both at home. A nephew Nathan, nieces Grace,and Helen, her grandparents Rudy and, Jean (Jaskulka) Carlson, a sister in law Tsehay and an uncle Charles Grimaldi and his wife Sandra, aunt Connie Gallo and her husband Dominick . Lisa also leaves a life long best friend Kim Wilson and cousins Dominick Jr. Tina, Nichole,and others. She was predeceased by her stepfather Mark Jaskulka and a brother Travis Jaskulka. Lisa was born in Worcester daughter of the late Frank Grimaldi and Victoria (Grabowski) Jaskulka, and lived here all her life. She was a graduate of South High School ,and earned her medical assistant degree from Bryman Institute. Lisa was a PCA for many years before she passed. She loved going to the Cape, and Plum Island, the beach, and enjoyed swimming and listening to Reggae music. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. A funeral service for Lisa will be held on Monday, at 11:00AM in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. Calling hours in the funeral home will be Sunday from 3:00PM to 6:00PM. Interment will be in Hope Cemetery, Worcester. Contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
