Linda M. (Brown) Setaro, 70, of Worcester, was called home to the Lord unexpectedly February 28th 2013 with her family gathered by her side, joining her husband and best friend, James R. "Jimmy" Setaro, who passed away October 25th 2012 in Heaven. Linda was born in Worcester, a daughter of Graydon G. and Eleanor M. (Chandler) Brown. She grew up in Leicester, and graduated from Worcester Girls Trade School. She met and married the love of her life and best friend for the next 44 years Jimmy; together they settled in Worcester to raise their family and have lived here ever since. Linda is survived by the family he loved so much; her four children, Carrielyn Veroneau-Chaffee and her wife Terry of Worcester, Marty R. Veroneau of Leicester, David Veroneau of Worcester and Darick Setaro with whom she lived; A brother, Robert O. Brown of Las Vegas; six grandchildren she cherished, Rene, Robert, Daniel, Megan, Timothy and Taryn; three great grandsons, Nathaniel, Giovanni, and Gino; Many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Two brothers, Kenneth D. and David Brown pre deceased her. Linda began her employed years as a buyer for the former Fair Department store in Worcester. She then worked customer service for the TD Bank Auburn branch before retiring. Linda also worked for her husband James managing the office of James Setaro & Sons Construction. Linda was a founding member of the Greenville Baptist Church and a volunteer for the Cancer, Relay for Life program. She also loved to travel. Through her life, Linda's main focus was as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Nothing made her more happy and proud was being around and with her family. They were a treasured inspiration and light of her life. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family TODAY, Sunday, March 3rd from 3 pm to 6 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Her funeral will be Monday, March 4th from the funeral home with a procession to Greenville Baptist Church, 674 Pleasant St. Rochdale, where her funeral service will be celebrated at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
