Dorothy L DeSimone

Dorothy L. DeSimone, 82, of Worcester, passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2013 in the Ichabod Washburn Hospice Residence. Dorothy is survived by a sister, Henrietta Skowronski of Alta Loma, CA; a brother, Charles DeSimone, Jr. of Naples, FL; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Samuel DeSimone. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Charles and Nancy (Belmonte) DeSimone and has lived here all her life. She worked as a secretary at UMass Medical School, before she retired and had previously worked at the former Worcester Junior College and College of The Holy Cross. She had been a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel-Saint Ann Parish. A Funeral Mass for Dorothy will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 28, in Our Lady of Mount Carmel-Saint Ann Church, 24 Mulberry Street, Worcester. Interment will follow in Saint John's Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Building Fund at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, 24 Mulberry Street, Worcester.
