Ronald A. Panarelli, 55, of Worcester, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 9, 2013, in Saint Vincent Hospital. Ronald is survived by his loving wife of twenty-six years, Anna M. (Seaver) Panarelli; two daughters, Joelle Angela Panarelli and Alyssa Marie Panarelli; his brother, David A. Panarelli and his wife Martie, all of Worcester; nine nieces and nephews, Angelo, David, Amelia, Jason, Mary, Michael, Matthew, Monica and Mark. He was predeceased by his mother, Esther (Castiello) Panarelli in February 2012. Ronald was born in Worcester, son of the late Angelo Panarelli, and has lived here most of his life. He graduated from Saint Peter's High School and attended Assumption College and The University of New Mexico. He loved playing all sports, but his excellence at baseball, led him to play professional baseball in Rimini Italy for three years; upon his return, he focused his love of athletics toward youngsters throughout Worcester, as he coached many teams including volleyball, baseball and soccer. He also enjoyed playing golf. He spoke Italian fluently and was a master tailor. Ronald owned and operated his own masonry restoration and real estate company with his brother for several years. He currently worked as an estimator and job supervisor for Quality Construction in Worcester. He was a member of many Italian-American clubs, Bricklayers Union, and Worcester Chamber of Commerce. Ronald devoted his life to his beloved family. He had a passion for The Bible and enjoyed sharing his love of God with everyone he knew. He lived a life of love, compassion and sharing and will be missed by all who had the opportunity to know him. Calling hours for Ronald were held on Wednesday, February 13, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. and again on Thursday, February 14, from 10:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. His Funeral Service was held on Thursday, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Saint John's Cemetery, Worcester.
