SERVICES FOR TODAY ARE STILL BEING HELD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOLDEN MASS - Tresann Avenia 50 of Holden Mass. passed away quietly February 18, 2013 at Ichobod Washburn Hospice Residence. She was born March 27, 1962, in Greenwich, Ct, daughter of Joseph Avenia and the late Julie Avenia. Besides her father, she is survived by her sister Jolie Avenia of San Francisco, her longtime partner, Joseph Dahlmeyer; Several Aunts and Uncles and numerous cousins. She was raised and educated in Stamford Ct. and later in Western Mass schools. She attended colleges in the Pittsfield area and later completed courses at Becker college graduating as a Physical Therapists Assistant. She excelled in her field after being employed by several rehab facilities in the Worcester and surrounding areas. Tres became a licensed massage therapist working at several chiropractic offices and also at her own local facility. She also became an aerobic instructor and a one point instructing police hopefuls. Tres's love for the outdoors along with hiking, skiing and snowboarding was intensified when she became interested in rock climbing. She surrounded herself with many friends of similar interests. A near tragic fall in Arcadia Maine came close to ending this love of her life. She missed snow boarding and ice climbing that winter but the following summer she was back on the rock. To Tres giving up was not an option. Tres has met and enjoyed many wonderful and loyal friends in her lifetime, but non greater, none more loyal, or non more loving than her partner Joe Dahlmeyer. Joe has been that special person that Tres has regarded him as her partner. Thanks Joe for being there for her. A special thanks for those individuals associated with Affinity Hospice of Life and Ichabod Washburn Hospice Residence for the caring and compassionate support for Tresann in her final hours A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, March 8th 2013 in the Mercadante Funeral Home, at 370 Plantation St. Worcester, Ma. Friends and relatives may gather for a period of calling hours from 11:00 am to the time of the service.
