May-Belle J. (Thompson) DiDonato, a longtime resident of Wakefield and Pepperell passed away Tuesday, February 12th 2013 with her devoted son by her side. May-Belles husband John DiDonato passed away in 1991. Her daughter Mary Femino passed away in 2009. She is survived by her son, Robert DiDonato and his fiancé Graycee Panarelli of Shrewsbury. Four grandchildren she cherished and who cherished her Alicia and Angela Femino, Nicole and Danielle DiDonato; A great granddaughter Autumn; Nieces, nephews and extended family. May-Belle was born in Everett, a daughter of Francis Thompson and Jennie (McGiggion) Thompson. She grew up in Wakefield, lived for more than 16 years in Pepperell before moving back to Wakefield. May-Belle worked several years for The Anacomp Corporation in Pepperell as well as caring for the family she loved so much. A typical mother, who cherished the homemaker role, wife mother and grandmother, she excelled at it all. She found inspiration in caring for and having her family around her at gatherings, dinners and holiday's. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family Friday, February 15th from 5 pm to 7 pm at the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. followed by a service at 7 pm. Burial next to her husband will be held Saturday February 16th at 11:00 am in Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield. In lieu of flowers, remembrances in her name can be made to the Susan B.
