Jacqueline R. (Guyette) Loconsolo, 88, of Worcester passed away peacefully Sunday, February 3rd 2013 with her devoted family by her side after a period of declining health. Jacqueline was born September 8, 1925, in Worcester, one of eight children born to French Canadian immigrants, Nelson and Claire (Fulton) Guyette. Educated in Worcester, Jacqueline met and married the love of her life, John M. Loconsolo Sr. Jacqueline devoted to life to being a homemaker, housewife, mother and grandmother to her seven children, 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She has lived here all her life. Jacqueline's husband John M. Loconsolo, Sr. left her side on May 23rd 1984. She is survived by the large family she loved so much and who were devoted to her; her children, John M. Loconsolo, Jr and his wife Georgia of Hadley, William F. Loconsolo with whom she lived, Ronald G. Loconsolo of Worcester, Therese M. Loconsolo in Colorado, Kathleen M. Taylor and her husband Bradford of Worcester; a sister, Estelle "Blanche" Hanson of Uxbridge; ten grandchildren, John, Lily, Maria, Tara, Leah, Briana, Elise, Amber, Jacle, Lisa and Michael ; ten great grandchildren; Many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Two sons, Michael J. and Joseph A. Loconsolo and six brothers and sisters all pre deceased her. Jacqueline was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church. She dedicated and devoted her life to her family. They came first and were always on her mind. Jacqueline was an accomplished artist who loved to paint, an accomplished seamstress who loved to sew and make stuffed animals for her family. She could produce wonderful meals for everyone, especially on the holidays and no one left her home hungry. She will be sorely missed. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family Wednesday, February 6th from 5 pm to 8 pm and again on Thursday February 7th from 9:00 am to 10:00 in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Her funeral will be held Thursday, February 7th from the funeral home with a procession to Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 35 Fales St. where her celebration of life Mass will be held at 10:30 am. Burial next to her husband will follow in St. John Cemetery.
