Michele M. (Therrien) Balsavich, 62, of Worcester; a fun loving simple women passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2013 in her sleep at home. Michele was born in Worcester, her father was the late, Roland A. "Rollie" Therrien, Sr. She was educated in Worcester, attended Worcester Girls Trade and has lived here all her life. Michele's husband Leo "Frank" Balsavich Sr. passed away in 1998. She is survived by the family she loved so much; Her three sons, Ronald Allaire, Jr. and his wife Shannel, Derek J. Allaire and his wife Jericca, Leo "Frank" Balsavich, Jr. and his companion Tammy Dyer ; her mother, Patricia (Grady) Therrien; two sisters, Suzette Macaruso and her husband Mark and Irene "Toni" Pisani; five brothers, Robert Therrien and his wife Debbie, Roch Therrien and his wife Sharon, Roy Therrien and his wife Donna all of Worcester, Richard Therrien and his companion Ella in Florida, Rick Therrien and his wife Karen of Auburn; nine grandchildren, John, Desiree, Felicia, Derek Jr., Angelique, Haley. Alyssa, Devin and Shain; a great grandson Andrew: Her companion Gerry Trafecante; her pets and best friends, King and Queenie; Many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Besides her father, four other brothers' pre deceased her, Roland "Rollie Jr. in 1977, Roger in 1993, Mario in 1952 and Raymond Therrien in 2009. Michele worked as a Personal Care Assistant for private homes and several area long term care facilities. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend who cherished her family, loved the beaches of Hampton N. H., walking in the rain, watching movies especially "Gone with the Wind" her favorite, listening to music and the Red Sox. She had a special sense of humor, who cherished family gatherings and those special moments shared. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family during calling hours, Tuesday, February 5th from 4 pm to 7 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Her funeral will be held Wednesday, February 6th from the funeral home with a Mass celebrated at 10:30 am in St. Peters Church, 931 Main Street. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery.
