David B. Lougie, 57 of Worcester, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 11, 2013 at UMASS Hospital. David is survived by a daughter, Aimee Lougie; a step-son, Christopher Bergeron both of Paxton; three sisters, Dr. Linda Prystupa and her husband Edward of Wilbraham, Deborah J. Esposito and her husband James R. of Holden and Nancy Lougie of Oxford; a brother, Stephen Lougie of Hubbardston; nieces and nephews, Dr. Jennifer Rocnik of Randolph, Joel Prystupa of North Easton, Christopher, Matthew Nicholas and Alexander Esposito all of Holden, Michael and Jonathan Boutot of Oxford; a great niece, Emma Rocnik of Randolph. David was born in Worcester, a son of the late Benjamin and S. June (Abajian) Lougie. He graduated from Burncoat Senior High School and has lived here most of his life. He later received his BS in Business from Nichols College. David worked as a computer analyst for NCR for seven years. He previously worked as a Purchasing Manager at Monroe Wire for over twenty years. David was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church. He enjoyed fishing and was an aficionado in Computers. A memorial service for David will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in All Saints Episcopal Church, Worcester. A period of calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 17th from 10:00-11:00 a.m. in church prior to his memorial service.
