Carolyn M. (Genese) Fox, 55 of North Oxford, formerly of Worcester, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at St. Vincent's Hospital surrounded by her loving family and is now in the arms of her beloved husband. Carolyn's husband of thirty four years, Kevin L. Fox passed away on December 9, 2012. She is survived by her two sons, Matthew M. Fox of North Oxford and his girlfriend Kristine of Northbridge, Timothy J. Fox of North Oxford and his girlfriend Jessica of Worcester; her mother, Joan M. (McGurn) Genese of Worcester; two brothers, Joseph J. Genese, Jr. and his wife Patty and Brian K. Genese and his wife Tina; two sisters, LeeAnn Nuzzetti and her husband Arnold and Maria Simpson and her husband Michael all of Worcester; a grandson, Kyle; nieces and nephews, Cara, Brianna, Michael, Ashley, Kayla, Alexa and Alyssa. Carolyn was born in Worcester, a daughter of the late Joseph J. Genese, Sr. and graduated from North High School. She lived in Worcester till she moved to North Oxford in 1998 and has lived there ever since. Carolyn worked as a nail technician for the former Victor Victoria's Salon. Carolyn was a member of Our Lady of Loreto Church. She was an avid bird watcher; enjoyed painting, ceramics and crafts. Services for Carolyn will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Loreto Church, 37 Massasoit Rd., Worcester. Burial will follow in Saint John's Cemetery, Worcester. A period of calling hours will be held on Monday, January 14th from 5-8 p.m. in the funeral home. Flowers are welcome.
