Dolores M. (Davini) Trafecante, 81, of Worcester passed away peacefully Saturday, January 5th 2013 with her family gathered beside her. Dolores was born in Newton, one of nine children of Paul J. Davini, Sr. and Claire B. (Smith) Davini. Moving to Worcester as a young girl she graduated from Worcester Girls Trade and Leo's Beauty Academy. Dolores then took employment as a stylist and cosmetologist in the beauty field where she worked for many years for various salons including the Foxy Lady. She met and married the love of her life, Anthony J. Trafecante, Jr. together they settled in the Lake Quinsigamond neighborhood of Worcester to raise their family. She has lived there ever since. Dolores husband Anthony passed away in 2010: she is survived by the family she loved so much, her son, Anthony J. "Truffy" Trafecante, II and his wife Gina of Rutland, her daughter Tamra A. Mungo and her husband Graziano of Worcester; six grandchildren she cherished and who cherished her. Anthony Trafecante IV, Carissa Coakley, Brianna and Marlena Trafecante, Cinzia and Graziano Mungo; four sisters, she dearly loved Gail P Pedone of Shrewsbury, Cynthia M. Hassett and Paula C. Lombardi both of Worcester, and Sandra M. O'Connor of Brewster; a brother, Bruce E. Davini of Millbury; Many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Two brothers, Jack and Dennis Davini and a sister, Barbara A. McKeown all pre deceased her. Dolores Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, January 8th at 11:00 am in Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church, 24 Mulberry St. Entombment next to her husband will follow in St John Mausoleum.
