Worcester Carmella C. (D'Angelo) 102 of Worcester died peacefully December 26, 2012 in the Oakdale Nursing Center. Carmella was predeceased by her first husband Eugene Serra, and her second husband Maylon C Mayo Sr. She is survived by her son Maylon C Mayo Jr. and his wife Carmen of Worcester, and two brothers Frank and Anthony D'Angelo. Carmella is also survived by ten grandchildren, and twenty great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three sons, John, Harold, and Leo, a brother Fred D'Angelo, and three sisters, Lena Patriac, Virginia Chandler, and Stella Desroches. A long time companion George Bourassa also passed before her. Carmella was born in Worcester daughter of the late Giocchino and Anna (Forcocchi)D'Angelo and lived here all her life. She was a graduate of Commerce High School. Carmella enjoyed being a Homemaker. She was a former member of St. Stephens Church. She enjoyed cooking, loved to sing, and most of all loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren . She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. A funeral mass and burial are being finalized for Friday and will be announced.
