Rose C. Feraco, 95, of Worcester passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 2nd with family gathered beside her. Rose was born in Worcester, one of eleven children and two infants born to Frank Feraco Sr. and Mary (Sauro) Feraco. She was educated in Worcester and has lived here all her life. Rose is survived by her four siblings and spouses, Michael Feraco and his wife Beverly of Newport Richey Florida, Frank A Feraco Jr and his wife Kathleen, of Grand Rapids MI, William Feraco Sr. and his wife Maryrose and Eva J. Dacri and her husband Rudolph of Worcester; many nieces, nephews, great and great great nieces and nephews. Six siblings, Vincent, Joseph and Anna Feraco, Jessie and Louise Carlo and Gloria Roberts, as well as two infants all pre deceased her. Early in life Rose worked as a nanny for a family in Pawtucket RI and later as a nurses aide for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts at the Worcester State Hospital for more than 20 years before retiring. Rose was a member of Our Lady of Loreto Church. She loved to travel with her sister Anna to the Casino's and Bingo nights. A quiet lady with a giving heart who loved people, her family and socializing. Her entrance into any room would bring comfort, laughter and conversation. Her family was her life and enjoyment. She will be sorely missed. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with Rose's family Sunday, January 6th from 3 pm to 6 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Her funeral will be celebrated Monday, January 7th from the funeral home with a Mass at 11:00 am in Our Lady of Loreto Church, 37 Massasoit Rd. Burial will follow in St John Cemetery.
