Ricardo M. Maisonet, 58, of Worcester, passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2012, in his home, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by the love of his life, is wife of thirty-three years, Isabele R. (Rodriguez) Maisonet; a son, Ricardo Maisonet, Jr.; two daughters, Amarilys R. Pacheco and Jarelis Maisonet, all of Worcester; his mother, Cristobalina (Martinez) Maisonet; four brothers, Luis Martinez, Samuel Martinez, Pablo Torrez and Elias Torrez; four sisters, Maria Oquendo, Mirriam Torrez, Maria Torrez and Mildred Torrez; seven grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a baby brother and by a sister, Lillian Torrez. Ricardo was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico son of the late Perfecto Maisonet and grew up in New York, where he graduated from High School. He later moved to Worcester, where he married his best friend and together they raised a loving family. Ricardo worked for many years as a machine operator at Rand-Whitney Corporation in Worcester. He will be remembered as a loving family man. Calling hours for Ricardo will be held on Tuesday, January 1, from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
