Juliana A. Davis

Juliana A. (Junnila) Davis, 96 of Worcester passed away peacefully on December 22, 2012 in her daughter's home. Juliana's husband of sixty seven years, Eugene E. Davis passed away on September 25, 2012. She is survived by her daughter, Bette Lou Davis Parker and her husband Benjamin Parker of Lunenburg; her granddaughter, Shannon LaFosse of Ashburnham, grandson James Davis of Lunenburg; her step-granddaughters Noelle Hohnecker of Northpole, Alaska and Melanie Blavackas of Barre; 14 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by three brothers, Bill, Henry & Wayno Junnila; and three sisters, Ailie Bergman Penttinen, Irja Junnila, Hellen Junnila. Juliana was a daughter of the late Werner and Amanda (Pauna) Junnila and was born in Worcester on July 13, 1916. She graduated from Commerce High School and later worked for the Worcester Police Departments as a Clerk in the Bureau of Records for more than twenty years. Juliana loved the opera, bowling and she loved time spent at Nauset Beach. You are invited to attend her visiting hours in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester, from 10-11 am Saturday, January 5, 2012. Her funeral will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, January 5th at 11 am. Burial at Hillside Cemetery in Rindge, NH will be private and held in the Spring of 2013.
