Michael DelloStritto, 78, of Worcester died peacefully Friday December 21, 2012 in the Christopher House surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife of 44 years Giuseppina ( Damiano) DelloStritto, a son Peter DelloStritto and his wife Kristine of Auburn, a daughter Concetta Carlson and her husband David of Worcester, three grandchildren, David Carlson, Michael DelloStritto, and Mia Beth DelloStritto, and a sister Antonietta Papa of Castel, Morrone, Italy. He was a predeceased by his brothers Luigi, and Onofrio, and a sister Maria Borelli. Michael was born in Castel, Morrone, Provencia di Caserta, Italy son of the late Pietro and Concetta (Damiano) DelloStritto and came to the United States in 1960. He went to High school in Italy, and also served in the Italian Army. Michael worked in the maintenance department at the Worcester Foundation in Shrewsbury for many years before he retired. Michael was a long time member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel-St Ann Church. He enjoyed working around the house and loved working in his garden, along with making his own wine. He enjoyed being with his family, especially his grandchildren. He will truly be missed. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of UMass Memorial and Fairlawn Rehabilitation, and the Christopher House with special thanks to Dr. Marguerite Hawley for their care and support. Michael's funeral Mass will be in Our Lady of Mt.
