Paul J. O'Meara, age 80, passed away at UMass Memorial Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family on Friday, December 7, 2012. Paul's beloved wife Marion (Lynch) O'Meara passed away in 2010. He was born on September 24, 1932 in Boston to James and Margaret (Whalen) O'Meara. He leaves two sons, Paul O'Meara of Grafton and Daniel O'Meara and his wife Deborah of Worcester; two daughters, Diane Garoulis and Deborah Sharpe both of Worcester; two brothers, Billy and Eugene O'Meara; six grandchildren and one great grandchild. He is predeceased by two brothers, Jimmy and David O'Meara. Paul was an honorably discharged veteran; he served his country proudly during the Korean conflict as a member of the United States Army. Mr. O'Meara retired from the United Parcel Service. Paul was a devoted Catholic and had a great love for God. He was a loving husband and father who touched the lives of many. Paul will be laid to rest alongside his beloved wife during a private ceremony at Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in Winchendon, MA.
