Florence R. (Daboul) Bermingham, 91 of Millbury passed away Tuesday, December 11th after a period of declining health. Florence's husband of 42 years, Joseph E. Bermingham passed away in February of 1999. She is survived by many nieces and nephews including Anthony and Joan Carter of Shrewsbury who cared for her. Florence was born in Worcester, the last of seven children, James and Michael Daboul, Emily Carter, Anna Harpie, Betty Bouharoun and Mary Derrico, blessed to Joseph and Rose (Adam) Daboul. She grew up and lived her entire life in the Lake Quinsigamond neighborhood of Worcester. Florence enjoyed working with children and was employed by the Worcester School Department more than 14 years retiring from Middlesex School. She previously worked for the Worcester Felt Pad Company. Florence, an out-going personality, winning smile, and contagious laugh, made her a joyful and welcome addition to all the family functions she so much enjoyed. Having and being with her family was what gave Florence her greatest joy. Funeral services for Florence will be celebrated Saturday, December 15th at 10:00 am in The MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. A period of calling hours will be held from 9:00 am to 10:00 am prior to the service. Burial will follow in Worcester Country Memorial Park in Paxton. Florence's family would like to thank the staff or Millbury Healthcare Grafton Unit for the exceptional care, compassion and comfort they gave to her.
