Elvira "Alice" (Galli) Michaud,86, of Worcester, died Saturday, December 8, 2012, at Autumn Village Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Alice was a much loved sister and friend. In her lifetime, she celebrated dozens of weddings, christenings, and Holy Communions. She was a generous and caring woman who found great pleasure in helping those less fortunate. Alice could always be found with a ready supply of lollipops that she freely passed out to children and adults she met along life's paths. She is remembered fondly for her love of music and would often burst into an impromptu rendition of her favorite song, You Are My Sunshine.' As an accomplished ballroom dancer, Alice spent many years as a member of Fred Astaire Dance Studios. She participated in numerous dance competitions throughout Massachusetts, and leaves behind several caring dance partners. Alice was a free spirit, always ready to travel and in the center of any party. Later in life, she travelled less, but staunchly remained in the heart of the Lincoln Village community she always loved. Alice was born in Worcester and was the daughter of the late Paul & Anna (Antinerella) Galli and has lived in Worcester all her life. She leaves three children, Lewis B Michaud III and his wife Florence of Worcester, Lu Michaud -Wood and her husband Keith, and Anna Marie Michaud all from Maryland; two brothers, Hugo Galli of Shrewsbury, and Arthur "Tio" Galli of California; three sisters, Dora Caputo of Worcester, Ida Blood of Shrewsbury and Gloria Meola of West Boylston; many grandchildren, great grand children, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
